Pros

flexibility was nice when there were enough employees working. loved being apart of a team when others did as well, and appreciated the friendly customers that came and made my day

Cons

unfortunately many people didn't want o be part of the team atmosphere. Management definitely had favorites and if your werent one of them, you would have to consistently work hard to even be noticed. The place i worked for had a lot of opportunity if management would just listen to there employees instead of just sucking up to there corporate bosses. because of this there was an extremely high turnover rate. 16 people either quit or were fired since i worked for these guys. sad because a lot of the employees that quit were long time. they had worked there 3 or more years. another negative was because of the high turnover there wasnt enough experienced technicians to help customers.

Pros

Lot of things to do so you stay busy. Walgreens does offer medical for you after 3 months. Flexible hours if you’ve been there for a while.

Cons

Senior pharmacy techs don’t like to teach. Don’t feel like you’re growing most of the time or learning anything new. Practically have to beg to be shown something. Not a good thing.
