Pros

The salary is great compared to other stores, their system is efficient, depending on location you can either enjoy the work or not enjoy the work though

Cons

Some locations don't afford you the time to counsel patients, some technicians act like they can play pharmacist and try to give you attitude. Upper management could communicate better. Seems like a dog-eat-dog world at times. Drive-throughs are the worst.

Still have great 401K match but I see that coming to an end as all other great benefits have been taken away.

Cons

Poor working conditions for pharmacists. More work added to plate yet few and fewer payroll hours to get it done. Was great place to work when Walgreen family still involved. Used to have the feel of a family run company...work and and you will be rewarded. Now it's just another big company with little respect or regard for it's employees. Current focus is only on what wall street thinks and not the employees.

Year round employment in a seasonal area, 25 cent raise every year, decent employee discount, easy work, close to my house, small store.

Cons

Unreliable hours, unpleasant co-workers, selfish management, low pay, and no benefits (even for full time employees)! We would get scheduled for, literally, half an hour less than what we needed to qualify for benefits. Also, my manager was completely unacceptable of us getting a second job and would purposely change our schedules to conflict. We make next to nothing! How can anyone think we wouldn't try to make more money?
