Pros

I would only recommend working at walgreens if if you are absolutely desperate, or perhaps if you are a retiree looking for part-time work to keep you busy.

Cons

as with any retail job you are subject to dealing with occasionally irrate and generally rude customers. management pushes for excellent customer service yet has no regard for the well being of their employees. as a service clerk you will be expected to do a lot of mindless work at irregular shifts with long hours for minimum wage. do not expect to get promoted unless you become best friends with the store manager. also, if you get laid-off don't expect to recieve unmeployment benefits, walgreens will fight you tooth and nail over them.

Monday throught Friday position with weekends off.

Cons

Poor communication from upper management. Do not receive the tools or backing to do the job. Management is top heavy.
