Pros

They have the best compensation for small box and even most large box retailers out there. Higher pay than most other places and better benefits (although not great).

Cons

The people who run the company now are driving it into the ground. Walgreens used to be a good or at least decent company. Now that it is no longer in the Walgreen family's hands, the new guys just seem content to abuse the frontline (especially the money makers in the pharmacy) as much as possible just to look a tad bit better to the share-holders. it is impossible to advance now, which is a drastic change from the way it was 4 years ago. Unless you have a plan to get out, don't bother getting in. It has a tendency to suck you in.

Pros

It had flexible hours and I had a great manager. I was a pharmacy tech so I learned so much, it was really interesting.

Cons

They cut back on the hours they gave the pharmacy, which made it really difficualt to do a good job helping customers when you were trying to do three things at once.
