Pros

very easy to learn how to get the hang of what's going on. the store manager is always there to help. got 2 raises in the first year

Cons

not too many opportunities for advancement. the budget cuts. if a customer complains, its always my "fault" even when the customer is wrong. doesn't pay too well, not really competitive.

Pros

Some nice employees. I liked how private the breakroom was. There was good team work when someone fell behind on their task.

Cons

Management only caring about themselves. My manager always thought about customers before the employees. Extremely strict about being even a minute late. Never moving anyone up from their position. Constant lay offs. Completely random hours. You basically wont have a social life and get laid off at a random time if you work for walgreens.

Pros

Walgreens supports the community that they are in. They take care of their employees and treat them fair. Employees with special circumstances are accomodated.

Cons

The managment is not always truthful in what they say and how they convey it. The assistant mangagers typically have to work at a store that is 40 or more miles away.
