Pros

As long as you do a good job you will be acknowledged. There is room to move up if you show the initiative.

Cons

Must deal with all types of customers. Must choose a major winter holiday on which to work, however there is a holiday pay rate.

Pros

Decent pay for pharmacists and great benefits for senior level management. Walgreens has locations in most US states - great if you want to move around.

Cons

Walgreen's recent downsizing just made it harder to get anything out of the corporate offices. They are a lean but bureaucratic company.
