Pros

The pay is among the best in the country. I have yet to find a job that is anywhere near the rate of Walgreens. Great work environment, smaller store makes helping customers easy! Benefits are decent, lots of vacation time!

Cons

Walgreens is changing everything!!! Very unstable right now. Promotions are given based on favoritism. If management "doesn't know you" you won't get promoted to higher positions. (aka brown nose) Absolutely NO OT!! (This used to be a perk of the job!)

Pros

Good hours and managers respect you to the fullest. Nice benifets and work environment

Cons

Pay is too low and its hard to get a decent salary for your job unless you are in managment. No holidays off and too much emphasis on selling unimportant items

Pros

Higher pay than equivalent positions at other retailers, decent benefits, and decent opportunity to move up if you are motivated

Cons

Its retail, and retail is no way to spend your life. You will work holidays and weekends. You have to bend over backwards for the general public, and let me tell you the general public is a bunch of mutants.
