Pros

Basically the only pros I can come up with are, relatively good pay for an entry level manager and alright benefits.

Cons

Mgts are often expected to do all the grunt work. Store managers act as if they rule the world. Often have huge egos and give virtually no praise for all the work that you do. One manager literally expected me to run at a full sprint to the front of the store to answer a call for a return. I guess your experience depends on your store manager, and that could change at any time. MGTs are often shuffled around from store to store.

Pros

Good Benefits including 401k, health, and dental. Most of the people ho I have worked with are very nice. I have gained alot of experience.

Cons

I am overqualified. I didn't go to college to stock shelves. The pay is terrible, for what you have to put up with.

Pros

The profit sharing is probably the best reason to work for walgreens. You get 3 to 1 match for every dollar you put in.

Cons

The hours are not to desirable. Upper management can make a 4 alarm fire over the most unimportant things. No company culture.
