Pros

Pay is decent, Good company to grow in

Cons

The new changes that came with the merger. They go off of a point system for attendance, they took away 6 points so now we only have 12 for the whole year, they no longer come off, no sick days so you better never get sick. They also will change your schedule without any consideration or asking you & you’re expected to work it even if it doesn’t work for you. All of the supervisors have bad attitudes & sooo ghetto! They also lied to us about quarterly bonuses because we still haven’t received them yet! I liked this company at first but they changed so many things & I felt like I was in prison how they micro manage everything. No longer a comfortable company to work for

Pros

Prescription insurance. I love the team of people I work with. They are awesome. There are over 10,000 stores in over 20 countries so there is lots of places to transfer to.

Cons

After 14 years in store management and receiving very good annual reviews the company is suddenly treating me like I'm one of their worst employees. After checking around it would appear they are going after long-time employees. People Like Us make too much money and have had our pay Frozen for the last 7 years and does not appear there will be any changes anytime soon. This company used to Treasure and celebrate it's long time Talent. The starting pay for management has been cut drastically. There never used to be a cap but there has been now for the last 7 years and the bonuses either do not exist or are a joke compared to what they used to be. Payroll has been cut substantially and while they keep promising to cut the workload they come up with new things for us to do despite the lack of people. It has become the norm to do more with less. The review standards to which you are graded against is a constant moving and very vague Target. You are never praised for all the improvements that you make even when they are adopted by the entire District. I could go on but then I am sure someone reading this is already thinking oh I'm just a disgruntled employee. Think what you will but beware just the same.
