Pros

Very hard for them to fire you.

Cons

Depending on your manager, if they don't care or seem bias and picks favorites your in trouble. Very lazy people, they ask for more than you can give.

Pros

None at all the pay is horrible and so are the inconsistant hours.

Cons

The pay is only $7.50/hour. You work hard to get paid almost $250 every 2 weeks if that.

Pros

Good benefits program, employee discounts.

Cons

Computer ordering system is ridiculous, one item will be empty for weeks, while another item will get multiple cases even though it's already overstocked, and yes, the inventory counts were correct. "Training" is pretty much by the seat of your pants. When I asked management for a shelf schematic(Planogram) because we had new items not on the shelf, they asked, 'Why do you want it', brushed me aside, acted like it was a secret. In my area at least, manager told me I had to work a full year before you're elegible for promotion "to show reliability and capability". One has to work a year at $8/hr to show they can do it? Way to drive away qualified employees. Front end checker is expected to greet all incoming customers, answer phones, checkout all customers, let management know when armored car arrives, notify when deliveries need to be received at back door, handle returns and disputes, pretty much all unsupervised or assisted, all for $8/hr. Have to call management repeatedly in order to get a response, with several 'shift leaders' and management on hand, they all assume somebody else will take care of it and ignore service calls.
