Pros

Walgreens used to be a great company to work for until it merged with Boots Alliance. Compensation was great, benefits well above average, great culture, stress was lower.

Cons

Over the years salaries have been capped, bonuses restructured and payroll budgets decreased, yet the work load remains. Store managers are miserable. District Managers that are supposed to be there to help you are there to police you. The current trend is to cut payroll dollars by getting rid of higher paid managers at the store level and corporate.
