Pros

Working here I've learned so much about healthcare and insurance. I work with an amazing team, and am lucky to have some great bosses.

Cons

Walgreen's is leaning away from individualized patient care and focusing more towards hitting numbers ("metrics"). This includes allowing less technician hours and more irrelevant responsibilities such as the ever-increasing calls that solicit their new programs, almost to the point of patient harassment. There is simply not enough time for these calls to get done in addition to the other, more pressing, tasks at hand. When these calls are not done, your pharmacy loses even more tech hours.

Pros

Coworkers are the best part of this job; This is a last resort job. Do not plan on a career path here unless you have no ambition.

Cons

There is not enough space. Enter at your own risk. Horrible business practices. Borderline fraudulent.
