Pros

Has many benefits and programs to offer employees. Part Time and Full Time employees have benefits. You can usually get a job through the company considering they hiring in vast numbers at times.

Cons

Having a life outside of work is nearly impossible. Pay rate is low. Narrow visioned and don't care about having new ideas or changes.

Pros

Depending on the Market that you are in, you want to have a great Market Asset Protection Manager that will be on your side and understand the issues you are having at your store. You have to get management on your team (influence them) on how to decrease shrink. You are basically the store managers problem solver to fix the problems and help the store get a bonus.

Cons

It can be dangerous at times because you make stops for shoplifters and the shoplifters can be "out of the box" and try to fight you and so forth. Hopefully the store that you are at has police officers or some type of third party security.
