Pros

I guess 10% discount if you consider that worth it. Give lots of breaks if you're not too busy to get around to even taking one. Profit sharing if your store somehow meets the requirements to get them. Amount you get is based on average hours you work, if you get it should be a little over 100$ a quarter.

Cons

Company doesn't care or respect the individual. All management cares about is store profits, their own incentives they get for meeting sales goals, in order to meet these they cut hours to the point where you cannot live off it, they wont order basic supplies like trashbags to cut down on store spending. They also block off most of the year so you cannot take vacations. Wont listen to the voices of the employees. training is done mostly on computer with videos that are out of date and incorrect to the individual store you are working at. Mostly you learn by screwing everything up. Assigned more work than one can achieve in a shift due to cut hours a person working a 4 hour shift need to do the same work as the people working a full 9 hour shift. And you have to run entire departments by yourself because they pull everyone else to do jobs that they dont feel like scheduling or hiring people for.

Pros

I have been with Walmart for a long time and I have always enjoyed working there. Walmart is always busy, so there is always something to do. I also enjoy meeting new people everyday.

Cons

Being shorthanded on associates is the biggest issue I have with Walmart. There are times when there is only one person running several departments by themselves.
