Pros

If you work in a department with nice coworkers, it can be bearable.

Cons

Far too many part time employees, and not enough full time ones (so they don't have to give out benefits). Working for one of the richest companies in North America, but not earning a living wage. I was working in the photo lab, and would often have to cover the electronics department by myself, something which I was never trained to do. I was closing by myself after only two short shifts, and had to deal with a lot of situations which I was never trained for. Made to cover for people on breaks, even though I never was till trained (which they were fully aware of). Having to work with rude, gossipy individuals with poor hygiene. Having to participate in chants at the beginning of shifts- it felt like cult brainwashing more than it felt motivating.

Pros

You get a pretty decent employee discount in card form. And it's okay to share that discount with close family relatives i.e. spouse, mother, father, children.

Cons

I was lied to many of times by this company. When I was first hied I was told that I would be allowed a raise. However, they changed the "rules" a week prior to my evaluation and I got NO raise. When I was hired I had a tongue piercing. I was told that I was allowed to have a clear ring, but again they changed that a few months later and I was written up. I was scolded in front of customers by managers. Worst of all I was told I had FMLA for my pregnancy, was denied 3 months later and written up for my tardies & such.

Pros

I have worked here for over 5 years now. Our Previous Photolab Manager was amazing but they executed her position. I love the profit sharing they give us and we can work out our availability hours. The people i worked with became my family. We treat each other equally and well respected.

Cons

Customers are always complaining, people think that we have to know every item in the store. Kodak Kiosks Machine always breaking, need to update the machines. Not enough staff in the Photo-lab, many times we don't get our lunch or break after working 8-9 shift, They have this safety & health policies and such but they don't even obey them. Schedules are always messed up. Not a single manager knows how to run a lab and They fired the only Photo-lab Manager that knows how to run a lab. New managers treat us like we don't even exist. They expect us to do everything. This new management team at this location is very bad.
