Pros

I worked full time a lot. The pay is okay. Once your 6 months is up your absent points go to 9 (which means you have up to 9 times to call in). The PTO accumulates pretty fast.

Cons

It all depends on where you work and your managers. My first department I was with was Cap 2- unloading trucks, I loved it. But once I moved to Cap 1-inventory and stocking in the day time managers insisted we stay and did not ask. We were called in 20-30 minute meetings so our supervisor would tell us we were not working fast enough (When the whole store knows we work our butts off finishing overnights process and trying to start and finish ours.) I was sent home the other day for speaking my opinion at a meeting after our manager told us we cant leave till this or that is done. I am a student I am going to work my schedule and I will continue to do so till I am fired and I will keep voicing my opinion.

Pros

The new leadership really seems to be tech driven, and the direction they are headed seems to be the right way. My area feels like a company born in technology.

Cons

The business still drives the tech side of things and not the other way around. Depending on where you are in the company it can feel like an advanced company or 20 years behind. Walmart also expects quite a bit from it's employees, which is not for everyone.

Cons

Customers can be difficult to deal with, wage could be better
