Pros

The ability to have 40 hours every week is nice.

Cons

Micromanagers, "My Guide", Having 2 hours to do 8 hours of work. No ability to have a coaching lifted ( write up) until the next year of the coaching date. 1 coaching = no promotion, ever.

Pros

There is a lot of room for advancement if you are willing to strive for it. Moving up to salaried management from an hourly position is achievable within a short time frame. The pay and bonus potential once you get up to management is very reasonable. Chance for a flexible schedule depending on your position and if you have a reasonable manager.

Cons

Whether you have good experience or bad experience, a lot of it will depend on your manager. Depending on your position, the actual job responsibilities you perform can at times be tedious and boring. Also with retail you will not get much down time around the holidays.

Pros

The benefits. Awesome 401k. Flexible schedule. You come in contact with some extraordinary people. The position I'm in I have a lot of influence on my customers and my cashiers.

Cons

Upper level management needs training, they don't meet the basic requirements to run a store. They are not fair. They don't treat the associates well.
