Great company culture, great work experience, great customer service.

Pros

Great with giving time off, especially to part timers. Great chances to gain work experience and learn excellent customer service skills. Great job opportunities and internship programs.

Cons

Unfortunately they lack the ability to place employees who graduate from college and have worked with them for 6+ years (through high school and college) accurately. If they were able to offer competitive job levels for graduating college seniors (in majors other than just business administration) I would have stayed with the company. They are a great place to work for though, it's was a hard decision to leave.

Pros

In general there are a lot of different opportunities at the store level since there are several different departments throughout the stores.

Cons

The way they advance employees is very difficult and frustrating. For example, if you have a bachelors degree, you cannot simply apply for a higher level job, rather you have to gain experience at the company first which can be frustrating with a degree.

Secure Job but don't understand somethings.

Pros

Job is very secure, you never have to worry about being laid off and have to activley work at being terminated. Health insurance is fairly cheap compared with what you get. Vested 100% in employer contributions in your 401k which is managed by Fidelity. Real Profit sharing, they don't consider their match "Profit sharing" like some other co's do. Very flexible schedule. Time and a half paid every Sunday you work. Raises every six months.

Cons

Most of the people are very childish/immature, especially the full time people. No sick days. Working every weekend and holiday.
