Pros

I can confidently say that in the two roles I had Wells Fargo in corporate (not customer facing) departments they do play nice. They mean well, have good manners, and genuinely care about it's employees. They don't move too quickly so there is plenty of time to prepare for change. They try hard to communicate whats going on in the industry, the company and at a department level. I would work for Wells in again in a heart beat. Good, nice people with solid ethics.

Cons

They can be extremely slow. They lack innovative passion. I don't know of too many other company's that size that don't have an internal innovation lab. This would help attract younger employees, more creatives, and help retention

Pros

Great PTO, brand new office, 401k & stock options, great co-workers. Training was amazing and was relevant to the job we'd be doing.

Cons

Pay is not equivalent to the work while other departments are slacking off and throwing you their garbage which causes even more work. The possibility of actually moving upwards in the department is similar to the odds of being struck by lightning twice in one day - not going to happen. It's like a high school clique system with sups and managers.

Pros

the best things about working at wells Fargo is the campus, the cafeteria, the benefits and the training was fun.the pay was great and I miss the pay.

Cons

the cons of working here were the sales pressure (as it was a customer service job taking inbound calls ), the sales goals we're not attainable or realistic and I often felt I was suffering mentally from all the stress -because no matter how hard I tried I wasn't able to make the stats on a weekly basis and my supervisor would make me feel bad, like I was gonna get fired for not getting enough transfer to sales.
