Pros

Plenty of holidays and vacation time. Decent Salary.

Cons

Poor product selections (no one can sell a car loan at 12% when the national average is half that). Management is quick to tell you what you've done wrong, but very slow to tell you what you've done well. Training is not long enough, they give you the bare bones information and then expect you to be a brilliant sales person within days of leaving training.

Pros

experience, technology, benefits, PTO, stable bank. best looking ugly bank out there

Cons

Where do i begin. i have been with Wells Fargo now for 10 years...teller, banker, FA. all they care about is numbers..sales, sales sales. and i doesnt matter how you get them. Every bank client should get 2 checking accounts, 5 debit cards, online, etc. Its all about how many widgets you sold today. As an advisor, same thing. How many structured products you sold today. Sell wealthbuilder funds, more insurance. At the end of the day, its sad. WFC was a good place to have a career but now its just turnover city. Get your experience, find out what you like to do and then GET OUT!!!

Pros

The pay is good compared to other retail sectors, and the benefits are nice as well if you're around long enough to take advantage of them.

Cons

Sell Sell Sell No matter how helpful you actually are to your customers, nothing you do will matter unless you sell them something. Not to mention that you'll find yourself constantly threatened with termination unless you play the Wells Sales Game.
