Communication from senior management seemed poor to non-existent. The projects we worked on were VERY dry. There wasn't much room for creativity or out-of-the-box ideas. One would say that banks are expected to be that way, though.

The paid holidays that we were given at Wachovia were reduced to 8. They took away our 10 day family care time (in addition to regular PTO). The tuition reimbursement does not cover anything other than the actual tuition; Wachovia paid everything, books, fees & tuition. Additionally, they only pay for a very small amount of pre-approved classes. I am mid-way through classes that they will not pay for. The health insurance is certainly cheaper, but, much more inferior. We now have to pay 20% of everything!! Many of us had titles with Wachovia, they took those away too. Every day it seems as though they are taking away something else from us. This is not an organization geared for the professional.
