Pros

You get great on-the-job training that is applicable in other industries. Very accomodating around academic schedules.

Cons

Compensation is low and there are little opportunities for advancement.

Pros

Wells is a great place to learn general business banking skills such as credit underwriting, treasury management, FX, etc... You really don't need any banking skills just business-to-business sales experience.

Cons

Wells is a trillion dollar business and as such they have to managed to the lowest common denominator which is sales, sales, sales. The pressure is enormous and you are only as good as your last quarter. This is not uncommon to many corporate businesses, but in Wells' case it leads to some very questionable behaviour.

Ok for a first job, but not great for a career

Pros

Good benefits and good working environment.

Cons

They don't care about what you have done in the past, it is always what are you going to do in the future. Sales goals are often very difficult to attain
