Pros

The only reason I can think to work for this company is the benefits package. They offer everything under the sun and most is pretty affordable.

Cons

The thing you have to keep in mind going to work as a "banker" is that you're not a "banker". Goals are so high that ethics has long since left and the company is being absolutely robbed by its employees. Management could care less about those that are cheating the system because they just want to keep their jobs. The bank doesn't care about its employees or especially its customers. Employees are pressured to push things that people don't need based on whatever flavor of the week that management wants to look good about. The environment is so stressful and micromanaged that many employees are having health issues, and management does not care, they just push harder. When the economy gets better the turnover will be astronomical as I don't know of a happy co-worker....anywhere.

Pros

High paying, and willing to train you in any areas you are willing to work. Ie: notary certification.

Cons

Unreasonable sales goals that do not adjust with economical changes. Frequent lay offs and promotions makes it hard to connect with staff. Managers that do well are promoted to bigger branches leaving the smaller branches with inadequate management.
