Pros

WS (now Wells Fargo Advisors) is good in that it is too big to be small and not big enough to be a large tier one wirehouse firm.

Cons

The merger with AG Edwards was a big mistake regardless of managment admits it or not. A gigantic cutlural mismatch. For every job one person was doing at Wachovia, 2-3 people were doing it at AG Edwards. Also, no one knows ultimately what Wells Fargo is going to do with us. Three years from now, who knows!

Pros

Benefits package and salary were ok at least on my perspective end. the people who work are usually great to work with.

Cons

micromanaging at its finest and sales pressure is rediculous in specific branches. politics are huge there. to move up after you have reached the banker position can be difficult.

Pros

Good standing company Fun people to work with Great upper management support Can move up quickly

Cons

pay is not good- and very hard to get any commision Must kiss butt to move up in the company very competitve, really never see a commission check, but you try to sell anyways to make yourself look better than other people. Products have higher rates then most banks
