Pros

It is a good place to start a banking career.

Cons

The extreme pressure to cross sell customers give the atmosphere of a used car lot, and because of this pressure there is an extremely high employee turnover rate. When a customer has a problem you are told to tell the customer to call the phone bank and to not help them in the branch.

Pros

It has great benfits and room to grow.

Cons

Their producet are not only inferior compared to the compitation but are also much more expensive. They also have a segment of the consumer population they not only do not care about, but do not want to do business with. Their business practices sometimes exploit less savvy costumers and they charge fee's that are not only excessive but in my opinion are near criminal!

Pros

Work-life balance is good, support for employees is good, benefits are decent. The bank is large, but reasonably well run and conservative, so it will be around for the long haul. It's not going to be the fastest moving, but that is part of it's stability. The people are generally good adn the company does seem to value them more than other companies.

Cons

very large and bureacratic. Compliance issues are a huge headache right now, and if you are reasonably innovative, you will be frustrated many times in trying to implement your ideas. There are not immediate consequences for incompetence or failure.
