Pros

The pay was very good and the health benefits were decent. 401K match up to 6%. PTO was wonderful--20 days your first year--and if you were not in sales, it was easy to use. Co-workers were overall friendly.

Cons

In my department there was no way to move up in the company. With the trouble in the financial industry, morale was getting very low. People in sales positions may not make their quotas if they used their PTO.

Pros

Great marketing programs for Loan Officers. Good training program. Flexible hours. Very little supervision. The benefits were very good and if you originate a really high number of mortgages you are treated very well. They are after only the top 5% of loan officers.

Cons

Pricing needlessly complicated. Errors always favor the company. Not really intetested in you unless you are a superstar performer. Sink or swim attitude of management. Their processing has to be one of the worse in the industry. Don't even think about sending in FHA or VA loans to their processing center. They will remain there for eternity.

Pros

If your a college student and need a part-time job with good benefits, being a teller is a good position for you.

Cons

I just graduated from college with a finance degree in May and cannot apply for another job within the company until I fulfill one calender year in my current teller position. So now I have to look outside the company for a job. There is no way I can survive on my own on a tellers salary. I explained this to management and they wont budge. I am the only one in my branch with a college degree and it makes me feel worthless working as a teller. I recently interviewed for a analyst position for an insurance company and was treated with much more respect and worth.
