Pros

1. Good Work Life balance 2. Friendly people 3. Better salary than other service based organization 4. Free pick up and drop 5. No pressure of work 6. Food at cafeteria are at very reasonable price 7. Good Environment 8. Good Insurance benefits and Insurance premium are separate from CTC 9. Five days of Work From Home monthly

Cons

1. No Learning about any tech 2. Only focuses on domain knowledge and that too of US banking only. This knowledge won't help any tech guy to survive in India 3. Lot of processes 4. Simply waste lot of time in meetings 5. Probation of 6 months in which notice period is of 1 month but after probation, notice period will become 3 months. 6. Whole Wells Fargo is trying to get into Agile methodology for which work they don't have work only 7. For QA people, even if you are hired for Automation testing but you will end up with Manual testing only. 8. For developers also, there is nothing to learn 9. Being finance organization, there is no inclusion of new technology 10. Everybody works on VDI machine through Thin Client and nobody gets proper privileges to install anything 11. Self Learning is zero 12. Wells Fargo at India is actually Wells Fargo Enterprise Global Services where Indians work just like working at any other service based organization. 13. Everything resides with US people as Indian managers are just like rubber Stamp to approve leaves, devices etc.

Pros

You get a big brand name on your resume if you are lucky, you will get a great manager and team to work with If you are very lucky and talented, you will get favoritism.

Cons

Lala ji manages everything. sick mentality of few managers and even people sitting in leadership position. You wont be able to see your HR or know your HR after joining. You wont be able to get your pending documents after you lose access to portal. settlement team wont respond to emails at all for many days. Management will make you cry blood and you will lose hope and charm to live, while they enjoy perks!

Pros

PTO, personal holidays, 401(k) matching, insurance benefits

Cons

Wells Fargo no longer thinks you need a sufficient staff to run a branch. Branches are staffed with skeleton crews and no one cares. Salaried employees are lucky to get a lunch break. When you do, you’ll be stuck not able to leave the branch in case you’re needed. You may get 15 minutes, 30 if you’re lucky. There is no longer a work life balance for employees. Imagine running a branch with 3 to 4 employees!! This is what Wells Fargo wants. Why? Because they don’t want customers coming to the branches. They want customers using ATMs and mobile banking. Employees are forced to hound customers about not coming inside the branch and using ATMs and mobile banking instead. Unless you’re bringing in lots of money or you want to borrow money, Wells Fargo wants you to bank on your own. The customer relationship is longer important. You’re there to be transactional. It’s sad this is where the bank has gone. Don’t let the shiny benefits fool you!
