Pros

Great team of friendly and talented people. Open company culture, encouraging a proactive approach. Flat(ish) organisational structure with no strict hierarchy. Easy to speak to the management. No taboo subject when discussing issues. Good work/life balance and time for learning and growing.

Cons

The reality is often different from intentions. Toxic influence from the mothership Wipro with its bulk, global body shop culture. Clients are mostly enterprise with decades of technical debt and old-fashioned processes. Transformation pace is measured using geological timescale. Obsolete technologies and worst-practices. Things are even worse when a project is directly controlled by the mothership Wipro.

Pros

Quaterly bonus's were nice. The staff were very hard working. Nothing else I can think of.

Cons

Messed up my tax code numerous times. No future at the company being that I wasn't from offshore. The offshore staff were treated poorly. No training apart from their own mandatory internal ones. No career path. Poor managment.

Pros

They can only help you to provide you a brand name. Rest of the things u learn urself.

Cons

I m very disappointed wd wipro. Being a performer earned reputation among colleague as well good rating. But no increament , no benefits and noone at senior management to raise the voices of employees generating actual revenue for the company. Consequently, left wipro finally and leaving a handful performers, almost everyone who is performing serving the notice period. Now this is something that this company will have to think cz positive statements are coming from higher management only n tht is due to the reason that its their job to manage people to work. Recently i saw huge number of employees leaving company due to inhuman practices being implemented n cant forget a girl crying in wipro safe area not to give break at work. I am not frustrated althogh i should be because if u have faith on you. Nobody can stop u n dont curse the company. Its unfortunate that they are no bothered about a good talent. U can see it clearly by the last 2 year growth rate. Companies like HCL have a steep growth rate and wipro is getting hit in every quarter. this is not a good compny for people coming from lower middle class families as they may have responsibilities like. Advice for them, join it if u dont hve choices. Work for not more than an year wd this company as if u perform well and willing to learn on your own then prove your mettle anywhere else.. I am glad that i left wipro cz much more financially stable now as well as i have got growth now. Also remember if u have confidence on u. These companies will miss u not u n trust me it happens.
