A great premise, and an inevitable downfall after an acquisition
Pros
A great, and flexible company, with a Finnish mentality(employees are valued, and heard), with an option to fail and learn, and low hierarchy and bureaucracy. The general vibe of the company is quite modern, we are a young bunch of individuals.
Cons
Where the company falls short is rewards, there could be years when you don't get a pay increase because you were hired at the top of the range(like it's your fault that the ranges are not market-matched). New managers are micromanaging, there is no trust in upper-level leadership. There is also less and less overall trust and transparency within the company, information is withheld and shared last minute. Also, there is no such thing as career progression, you are hired for BAU, and your manager will not care about you moving ahead.
