Thank you for your feedback! We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your time working for our Chilton, WI facility. We agree – Our People are what make Worthington special. With an increase in orders for the products created in Chilton, due to COVID-19, there has been a need for production employees to work overtime hours. We appreciate your hard work through that time! We are working hard to hire in these areas so that our current employees can get back to more normal hours. However, any employee who has a concern around scheduling issues or any issue for that matter should discuss it with their supervisor, HR Partner or use our Open Door Policy.

Pros

People "The Golden Rule" philosophy. Profit share. Good insurance and benefits. Awesome vacation time. 3 floaters. 2 weeks after 90 days, plus 1 year every year. 5 weeks vacation cap. Dont use it you lose it.

Cons

None. It's a typical steel plant. Above average culture compared to others. Pay is slightly lower for my position than others.

Pros

There are opprtunities to develop, especially when you express interest and initiative. I also like the profit sharing model a lot, so it is worth asking about if you are hesitant to work for a company with profit sharing.

Cons

Vacation days and paid leave not competitive with other companies of the same size, but managers and HR show a lot of flexibility from what I have seen.

Thank you for leaving a review. We do our best to promote from within and give opportunities to those employees who work hard and show interest in learning and growing. Glad to hear you enjoy the development opportunities and profit sharing program! The Company does offer a vacation policy that’s unique and one we’re proud of that provides all full-time employees a salary plan that pays 100 percent for time away from work, with no preset number of sick or personal days, and annually reviews its offerings to ensure they remain competitive.
