Pros

Opportunities IF you're already a high-level manager / executive and looking for a project.

Cons

Front line employees have now become a commodity to be traded, not valued. Experienced people off-boarded to contract houses under the guise of "shared services", promised guarantees of maintaining salaries and benefits, only to be terminated months later, allowing the Xerox to avoid the stigma of reporting massive layoffs in the news. The corporate raiders in charge are only there to suck the marrow out of a once great company; they will simply move on to another leaving a carcass behind.

Pros

Flexibility in being able to work from home.

Cons

Continuous cost cutting. Year over year layoffs and more cost to the employee for benefits.
