Pros

Very hard to think of any. It really is a joke.

Cons

It all starts from the top. From arrogant president of the company to some of the weasels in the warehouse. You have to laugh at all the people that are scared to death of management. As usual, people in Management that will say they want to hear your ideas but of course will not listen. Human resources is no different, I will not mention names. To many meetings that produce nothing, to much money that is spent on lunches, yet pay their employees terrible wages. And yes Mr. President, I know you are reading this, because you need acceptance, not from me. They think they are running a top secret technology company, for God's sake, its only copiers. They make the business process way more complicated than what it should be. All in all, don't waste your time. At first they will try and suck you in promising this and that, but give it time.

Pros

Resume builder... Can't think of much. They will suck every bit of optimism out of you.

Cons

As soon as I walked in the door the president of the company started trying to sell me... And he's a GREAT salesman. I knew that selling Xerox copiers wasn't something I wanted to do going into the interview but I liked him so much that I decided to put my faith in him and accepted the job and started a week after graduating college. First of all, they will tell you that you can make $100k right out of the gate. In my time there I didn't see a single commercial sales representative even come close to that number! They'll tell you that people in the office make up to $500k but that's a few people and they are the major account holders. All of the big businesses are taken by their mid majors and major account representatives. The biggest problem with AOT though is that they're a middle man. Xerox direct (who they tell you can't touch your prospects LIE) can out price AOT on every product. It also doesn't help that every other vendor is not just cheaper but they are nationwide which takes away any prospects who are in multiple states. They sell a B.S. Speech about their "AOT 360" which is really just FM audit and isn't proprietary at all. It wasn't just the sales process that chased me off though. It was the blatant disrespect for people. Even the top managers took place in publicly insulting employees. One of the mid major reps (who has dedicated more years to AOT than anyone because of their excessive turnover) got it the worse. As a women I was constantly sexually harassed and felt uncomfortable on a daily basis. Beware of positive reviews... The HR department is hell bent on making AOT "best place to work in Phoenix" and tells all employees to leave positive reviews on glass door and positive feedback on surveys to help sell this sorry excuse for a company.

Pros

They take you out to lunch quite frequently,co-workers complain to each other so it makes it easy to see where you're going if you stick around, the office is nice, they have free water,

Cons

Training is terrible, they try to save a penny at every turn including trying to make you show up to work early to only to be told you don't get paid until your normal workday starts because that's the "expectation",lack of structure from management, you pay for a company van that isn't in your name, medical benefits are terrible, the company acts like you make a million dollars an hour, and leadership just walks around telling corny jokes.
