The best IT company in Russia
Pros
- The incredible atmosphere in company allowing to feel comfortable and motivating for creating the best software. Flexible hours - Super comfortable office, free lunches and snacks, macbooks and free parking - Interesting and sophisticated projects. Very talented and skillfull people - Really competitive salaries and bonuses.
Cons
The only cons is coming from the Pros - sometimes you are not punished for not meeting deadlines and being too little in the office. Of course this highly depends on the project but some of them are too "carefree" and kind to the employee. Also there was the case of conflicts between management in Moscow and in SPb that was resolved in honor of Moscow ones only because they were friends of senior managers there. This was unfair and resulted in firing of dozens of pretty skillful SPb managers and tech guys. Though in general this doesn't prove that there are inner problems in Yandex, it's still incredible and best IT company in Russia. P.s. I like the design of SPb office even more than Google's one in Tsurich and London :)
