Pros

One of several companies on the Earth that solves complicated problems on a large scale. Yandex has it's own data analysis school and a computer science department in a university. Complicated problems for those who like it and less complicated for those who don't :) You can easily know what happens in other departments using internal forum. Great work/life balance, flexible working hours. The best company I have worked yet.

Cons

It's not easy to work outside of Russia.

- You are making highly marketable products - High qualification requirements: all your colleagues are true professionals - Horizontal relations in team - Friendly and relaxed corporal culture - Comfortable office with free fruit, sweet stuff, games

Cons

- Average or even below-the-market salary. However, it is compensated by good benefits. - Drawbacks of big size company: sometimes clumsy management, delaying of decisions, overcrowded work places, irritating bureaucracy, etc.
