Autonomy

Pros

Flexible working environment. Autonomy is cultivated. Toronto managers respect local expertise. Things change fast, roll with it!

Cons

Because we move in a fast paced industry, balls can get dropped as policies change, or projects don't involve all the right stakeholders from day 1. I have become a much more effective communicator over text and email to ensure challenges are addressed with the appropriate actions and speed.
