Pros

You can kind of choose your own hours, and work as little or as much as you want. Tips can be nice.

Cons

Tips may not exist on some days. Expected to drive through a blizzard if your shift coincides with it. Base pay is a bit low for drivers going through downtown traffic during peak hours.

Pros

Full schedule flexibility.... No one bossing you.... Keeps you in shape while it pays well. Looks like a good way to make money while traveling to some cities. Free backpack and jackets that you may wanna paint later ;-) A level of appreciation from random people. Local management is pretty transparent and nice.

Cons

Your dispatch is an AI... It totally disregards the weather conditions or the terrain of your paths (in hilly cities this often becomes a pain), and often makes you do absurd long-shot deliveries (no mileage compensation for riders). Feels like being just a number. Zero potential for related job opportunities, and might not be an awkward addition to your resume.
