"50% match up to 8%, plus 6% on top, for a grand total of 10%. This is outstanding and I do not know of anyone who tops that. If you make $100 and max out your 401k, you're putting away $28k a year."

LM moved to a HDHP. It is better to pay in cash than use it because you'll never hit the detucable. Insurance use to be great here, hope the revert it back sooner than later. The current plan is awful.

Some of the best perks are the vacation, 9/80 work schedule, and education benefits. Every employee starts with 3 weeks of paid vacation. On top of that, there is personal time off and holiday pay.

Vacation allowance is pretty flat - you start at 3 weeks (good) and work up to 4 weeks after 20 years (less good). But guidelines on when you can use the vacation is pretty flexible.
