Interview
7 Stage long interview process. For one of the assessments I was made to travel two hours with no reimbursement. Made it to stage 7 to have a final interview which included telling the interviewer my whole personal life story. Didn't hear back until over two weeks after the interview at 6pm on a Saturday - an email saying I was unsuccessful with no feedback.
First stage was an online form, which was simple enough. This was followed by a video interview, questions came up quickly so do preparation before hand (challenges, achieving high standards, working in a team etc). I was then asked to do psychometric testing, which was relatively easy. There’s lots of practice questions available. Next was the group assessment, a short presentation followed by a group exercise on hiring candidates. Do your research and prepare some talking points for the presentation (simplicity, special buys, competitor analysis). The final interview in the regional office was really a deep dive into me as a person and if I understood the demands of the job.
The process is long and difficult, but can be extremely rewarding if you put the time and effort into your research and preparation!!

Interview
Round 3 was an online recorded interview. When I went to complete the interview my computer did not have the software to access the platform. I then had to do the interview on my phone. There was a practice question where the question popped up and disappeared and then started recording. This was great, then I went to do the real thing and the question came up and never disappeared. I sat there and then in the top right I saw a countdown with only 10 seconds left. I was completely thrown off by this and I had no way of telling anyone that it was an unfair assessment as you can only complete the interview once.
