I applied online. I interviewed at AT&T (Bellaire, TX) in Mar 2013
Interview
I applied online, and after clearing the online assessment, got an email, had a brief phone interview. The next was a testing session at the Bellaire facility in Houston, TX which comprised of a typing test, computer simulation in a call center and then I was called for an in person interview, got the offer and accepted.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T in Nov 2013
Interview
Applied I believe in August of 2013 on the website and didn't get an email or call from them until November 2013. The recruiter was really snobby and mean, she asked about previous employers and about gaps in my employment. She then sent me an email for an assessment which I passed . A few days later she sent another link for background/fingerprint information and new hire paperwork. Went and had all that done, she called once that was cleared. Scheduled me for the orientation, and once there , we were informed that we were new employees with AT&T !!( they hire in bulk, like 10-15 people at once) Received our temporary security badge and ID a few weeks later. Training class was 6 weeks I believe, then what they called "nesting" was 3 weeks. And afterwards they place you on different teams within the building. You work whatever schedule your team is on.. It varies from early morning hours to afternoon to midnight. I left shortly after nesting was over because I refused to work 3pm-11pm with small kids at home. No way!
Good company hood benefits, met a lot of nice people and the training class and instructor was cool.
