I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at AT&T (Saint Louis, MO) in Jul 2013
Interview
Phone screen interview and then a face to face with 3 interviewers. Went through all of that only to find out I need 2 certs (S+ and CEH) to even get on the contract and I didn't have a high enough clearance. Complete waste of my time. They could have saved me some trouble by checking a few things before my interviews.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at AT&T (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2012
Interview
Two interviews, one by phone and one in person. The job was a good fit to my background, but not an area I had worked in before. There was a high overlap with my skills however, and an understanding that the role would evolve (which it has). All interaction and negotiation was coordinated by the contracting firm. Included a drug test off-site and a background security and credit check. I thnk I had to pay $50-100 for the testing and background.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2012
Interview
Interviewed with hiring manager, spoke with hr about drug/background check, offer letter was negotiated/sent and received a start date.
