I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Moreno Valley, CA) in Nov 2021
Interview
I prepared for the proverbial L7 POD. I prepared a 15 page POD prep "cheat sheet" with stories as well as answers to commonly asked questions. Make sure your stories revolved around the Amazon Leadership principles and have a lot of depth of facts and data in them. The interview process is overly hard. I know that they trying to hire the best person for the job, but I believe this process is not objective enough and is far too subjective. That may explain why Amazon does not get it right so often.

Tell me about a time you had to communicate a big change in direction for which you anticipated people would have a lot of concerns. How did you handle questions/ resistance? Were you able to get people comfortable with the change?

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Bolton, England) in Jul 2023
Interview
First interview was very pleasant with the Amazon recruitment manager, asked my experience and said he was pleased with my work and hoped that the recruiting manager would be as he had interviewed and turned down many people. When I moved to the second round the recruiting manager was late, didn’t apologise and sighed a lot. I didn’t get the job but was told that my examples were good and that I should apply again in the future. Very difficult to learn where to improve from and felt the pressure going in knowing the recruiting manager had interviewed so many people and had been difficult for the recruitment team.
