I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Nashville, TN) in Jul 2023
Interview
- Intro call with recruiter - 45 minute phone screen with hiring manager - Four 1 hour interviews (split over 2 days). 2 Senior Operations Manager Interviews, 1 HR Manger, 1 Operations Director. Received email that I passed the loop the day after I finished my interviews. Written offer took a few weeks to arrive (due to approvals) recruiter kept in contact the entire process.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself Time you led a talent review process Time you say an opportunity to do something bigger Time recieved feedback
Applied for one job that wasn't actually vacant, but was set up to interview for another position. There was lots of HR support leading up to the interview, but events started late, and overall questions were unnecessarily complex in trying to overlay interview questions against company leadership principles vs. hitting skillsets/experience relevant to the position. I did not receive an offer, but later received multiple follow ups for other opportunities.

Question 1
Can't remember any specific questions, but they were not similar to those mentioned in any of the coaching/prep sites and videos.
Recruiter call > first stage interview > 4x person interview, including 'bar raiser' at the very end. It was really demanding and with hindsight, I'm really glad that I didn't receive an offer.
