I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Leander, TX) in Jun 2022
Interview
I thought I wanted to work for AWS until I went through their interview process. Felt I was ready for the loop after studying for a week +. Expected 3 interviewers with at least 45 mins-1 hour each, got 4 with 2 of them having other employees shadowing and they also asked questions. So, basically had 3-4 bahavioral questions per person...about 20 questions and I was only expecting about 12-14.
It was a grueling process and if you really want to work there, burn out after a few years and leave like I've heard most people do, great. I think at some point, Amazon will have to either shorten their process or change it all together. If they're looking for that 1-2% of the 'working' population, they're going to run out of candidates at some point.

The interview process was simple. The hiring supervisor asked a few questions. Why do you to work for Amazon? Why did you leave your last job? What are your hours?
