I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Bank of America in Dec 2009
Interview
I interviewed with two associates who were not very thorough when it came to explaining the job functions. In fact, I got the impression the interviewers did not know how to explain what they were looking for, or did not know what they were looking for. Based on this observation, I knew I would decline the offer when it came. My philosophy is that if someone is going to be charged with the interviewing process, they had better know what the functions/duties of the job entail.

Interview
I was given a phone call by a recruiter to confirm my interest followed by an interview with the hiring manager. I was asked about prior job experience, skill set, and several behavioral questions. Important to come prepared with elaborate answers following the STAR method. I had a second interview which was technical but questions were not too difficult. Received a job offer a few days after. Overall great experience
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Bank of America (Boston, MA) in Jul 2012
Interview
Met with the person who would become my manager to do the interview. Discussed my current place in the environment and what ideas I had about improvements to the organization. Asked to discuss difficult situations and how I mitigated associate concerns and resolved issues.

Interview
Typical interview process and always at least two interviews before getting an offer. The recruiters really try to figure out if you are a good fit over the phone before setting up an interview.
