Arrived thirty minutes early and all of our documents were checked. Once we had all completed a short form asking about tattoos, and pre booked holidays etc we were asked in small groups to go and have our height checked and asked to confirm whether we had any tattoos and where they were.
Once everyone had done this we had a short presentation on BA and what a typical roster would look like etc.
After this we were all taken back to the waiting area where we were all called randomly for the group activity or the role play.
I had my group activity first and it was based on a stranded aircraft with no supplies and we had to decide what supplies were most important. TIP: always refer back to people's individual needs, e.g. Dietary requirements or religions.
I then waited about an hour for my role play and was asked to be a customer service rep and help a woman who had missed her connecting flight. Read the information given to you and stick to it!
After this there was a short wait where we were told whether we had made it to the interview, which luckily I had!
I then waited around another hour and then had my 2:1 interview, it was very relaxed but I made sure to relate the questions to all aspects of my life e.g. Home life, work and university so they had a good idea about who I am.
This lasted around twenty minutes and although there was a lot of waiting around the day ended up being a lot shorter than expected. I found out the next day that I had been successful.
