I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Capital One in Sep 2022
Interview
Pretty technical and did not ask many behavioral questions. They don't really explain a lot of the numbers they give you so make sure to really clarify what each number means.

Question 1
There is a product interview where you have to talk about one of your favorite companies, and explain their business model and how they can improve. Make sure your answers about the company are very structured and concise.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (New York, NY) in Sep 2022
Interview
Two Rounds. First was a mini-case interview with Senior. Average difficulty. Second was Superday, including 3 interviews (1 behavior, 1 case, 1 product) with Senior and VP level. Question varies, but average difficulty.

Question 1
Why capital one Why this position What product do you like and how you gonna improve it
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Sep 2022
Interview
1st round was online assessment, looking to assess basic analytical skills (looking over data set given to you beforehand and coming up with answers about what should be done based on the data set) 2nd round is Power Day, I think they try to assign you interviewers who went to your school. 3 interviews. Overall the interviewers were nice, some better than others but it was a good experience overall. You will be given materials to practice how Capital One case interviews are (2 of the 3 are cases), make sure to go over these, and make sure to know how to solve the basic questions. Basically calculating profit, identifying areas to expand/improve business strategy/product. The other interview is a product interview. This one walks through the process of improving a new product and walking through an existing product. Overall not too bad if you prepare, make sure to talk to current employees for tips. People normally say "Capital One cases are very number heavy" or something like that, but they really aren't; you're allowed a calculator and math isn't any harder (besides numbers not being easy to calculate by hand) than other case math.
