I applied online. I interviewed at Capital One (Mettawa, IL)
Interview
Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter a couple days later for a brief phone screen. The next day I received an email to take online tests. About a week later, the recruiter scheduled the phone interview with the hiring manager and a couple of team members. I received an email from the recruiter a few days later saying that the phone interview went well and I would be asked to come for an onsite interview. I was told that I should be "on alert" over the next couple of weeks for the interview. I didn't hear anything within that time frame, so after a few attempts to contact the recruiter, I received a response that the interview would be sometime the following week and to be ready. I didn't hear anything the following week and the recruiter did not respond to my follow-ups. Then the week after that I received an email with about a 36-hour notice for my interview out of state. The interview consisted of three behavioral interviews and one job fit interview. The recruiter replied after a week saying that he had received all positive feedback from my interview but was waiting to speak with everyone as a group on the following day. I attempted to follow up every few days but did not get a reply for nearly a month. Then I was told that they would like to bring me on board, but they needed to work out some things. That was the last response received. The position is still open, and it's been posted since last October.
