I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Boston, MA) in Oct 2021
Interview
First stage: technical discussion of resume items with data scientists and machine learning engineers. Decently casual and a lot of interest even in niche topics.
Second stage: Easy Leetcode problem, asked to describe the thinking process with that being the primary focus.
Third stage: Given a "fake" code representing some I/O in a machine learning context. Also asked to think out loud and willing to answer questions if need be.
Final stage: Behavioral questions. The interviewer was clearly just reading off a prompt and filling in a summary of my response with not much conversation or room to elaborate.

I was send a coding assessment over a popular coding website after that. You get 70 minutes to answer 4 questions that are described between easy - hard. However, its definitely a personal preference of which of the questions you think are easy or not.
After that the process would continue with an in person assessment during what they call "action days"
