I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (New York, NY) in Sep 2021
Interview
Everyone was nice and recruiter was actually very prompt but this process is way too long, especially the 4 hour power day at the end. Including a quant consulting style business case is a bit much for what’s essentially a bank IT job. I probably wouldn’t take the time to prep/interview here again (especially since no feedback was given on why I wasn’t extended an offer).
The process was as follows:
-recruiter screen (15 mins)
-hiring manager discussion (30 mins)
-mini case (1 hour)
-power day (4.5 hours)
—business case
—product case
—product skills (talk about a product you launched)
—job fit (behavioral)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA) in Oct 2019
Interview
Started off with a phone screening and phone calls with various team members on both the business and product side. Final round is “power day” with 3 cases. The recruiter was communicative and helpful throughout, and was always happy to answer questions.

Interview
An internal recruiter was assigned to me from the beginning and she was very helpful during the whole interview process. The actual interview included a behavioral/job fit section, a case study section, and a design section.
