I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA) in Mar 2023
Interview
Whole process took about 1 month. It was very straight forward, phone screening > final round. The final round consists of 2 case and 2 behavioral in a span of 7 hours. The recruiters will send you case prep materials and answer any questions you make have, they really want you to succeed. Cases were still difficult but the overall process was straight forward.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you disagreed with your boss and wanted to make a change?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA) in Dec 2021
Interview
I was invited to take an online assessment. This assessment was pretty straight forward with a few questions about reading data or an income statement and then answering questions about this.
At this point, there was a phone call with the recruiter. This was a very cursory interview and was mostly spent talking about the company.
After this, I went on to their Power Day, which is 4 back to back interviews. Two of these were case interviews and two were behavioral interviews. The case interviews were somewhat challenging for me since I had never done any before, but overall the atmosphere was relaxed.

Question 1
Talk about a time you designed and implemented an improved process or workflow.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Capital One in Jan 2020
Interview
The interview process was dragged out for almost four months after I was referred. The process included an HR Screen, Personality/Skills Test, HM Interview, and two case interviews.
They were very slow to respond, taking 2-3 weeks to set up the each step in the process and inconsistently cancelled things as well. I passed all interview rounds but after a couple of weeks of silence I was sent an automated email saying the position was frozen due to COVID.
I understand why they put in place a hiring freeze and I am fine with that. However, I don't understand why they dragged out the interview process for months nor do I understand why it took them so long to tell me the position was put on hold. If they had moved quicker this never would have been an issue in the first place.
